About Us

Lighting the way for those who have walked through fire

At Wicks of Honor, we create hand-poured candles inspired by real stories-military grit, quiet resilience, and the strength it takes to come home. Founded by an Air Force veteran, our brand honors the moments that shape us, the healing that follows, and the belonging that we all deserve. Each candle is a tribute and a reminder, you're not alone in the dark.

Our Story

From boots on the ground to a candle in your home—this is my story. I’m a proud Air Force veteran, a mother, a wife, and the founder of Wicks of Honor. After transitioning out of the military, I struggled to find that same sense of purpose and belonging I had while serving. Soon after, my husband would experience the same thing. The structure, the connection, the shared mission—it was gone. But what stayed with me were the memories: the smell of jet fuel on the flight line, the sharp bite of cold air before dawn formation, and the comforting scent of home after time spent away. Wicks of Honor was born from those memories, and from the belief that scent is one of the most powerful ways to tell a story. Each candle in this line is inspired by moments that shaped me—military grit, Ohio roots, and the soft, healing strength of womanhood. But this brand isn’t just about my story. It’s about our stories. It’s about creating a space where other veterans, especially those feeling lost after service, can feel seen, supported, and connected. That’s why I donate 10% of all proceeds to Stop Soldier Suicide—an organization dedicated to helping veterans find hope, help, and healing. Whether you’re lighting Deployment Dust to remember your service, or gifting Barracks Echo to someone who “gets it,” I hope these candles bring a little warmth, light, and belonging wherever you are now. Welcome to the fire. You’re not alone.
